Musical Director
Clive Waterman BEM
Former Head of South Lake Junior School in Woodley, Clive is well known for his enthusiastic musical involvement with both children and adults, having won several awards, including The Rotary Foundation’s Paul Harris Fellowship Gold Award in 2019, for his ‘long-term outstanding contribution to children’s music’. In King’s Birthday Honours List, Clive was awarded the British Empire Medal for services to the Reading Male Voice Choir and charity.
Clive became MD of Reading Male Voice Choir in 2015, having joined as its accompanist while still a student! He is also Musical Director of Wokingham Borough Council’s ‘Music for All’ project, which each year gives 800 primary children the opportunity to perform at Reading’s Hexagon Theatre.

Hayley Tull
Hayley began learning the piano at an early age – she accompanied choirs under Gwyn Arch as a teenager! She moved to Tokyo in 1993 where she performed with instrumental soloists and played the flute and piccolo with a professional orchestra.
On her return to the UK, Hayley taught the flute and piano at Berkshire Maestros where she also accompanied choirs, exams, competitions, recitals and masterclasses. She is currently Assistant Director of Music at Cheam School in Newbury where she also teaches the piano and continues to accompany exams, auditions and concerts. Hayley is Principal Flute for Slough Philharmonic.
